    6F5 is a well-graded unbound crushed rock commonly used as a capping layer and sub-base in construction and civil engineering projects. With fewer fines than 6F2, it provides good load-bearing strength while allowing improved drainage. It is typically used as a foundation layer prior to road surfacing, yards, and hardstandings where both stability and permeability are required.
