How to invite existing customers to Bulki

Overview
Invite your existing customers (buyers you already work with offline) to manage orders, call-offs, and deliveries on Bulki. Invitations are sent by email and create a secure sign-up path tied to your supplier account.
Who can do this?
• Supplier admins or team members with permission to manage buyers.
Before you start
• Confirm the customer’s primary contact email.
• (Recommended) Create the Project and Drop-off Location first so the buyer can select them during onboarding.
Send an invitation
1) Go to: Suppliers → Buyers.
2) Click “Invite Buyer” (or “Invite Customer”).
3) Enter the customer’s details:
• Company name
• Contact name (optional)
• Email address (required)
4) Add an optional message (appears in the invite email).
5) Click “Send Invite”.
What the customer sees
• An email with a secure link to accept the invite.
• They’ll create their Bulki user (or sign in if they already have one) and connect to your supplier account.
Track, resend, or revoke an invite
• Track: Suppliers → Buyers shows pending invitations and status.
• Resend: Use “Resend” to send a fresh link if the invite expired or was lost.
• Revoke/Cancel: Use “Revoke” to invalidate the link (e.g., wrong email).
Common scenarios
• Email already registered: If the email already has a Bulki user, they’ll be prompted to sign in and accept your invite.
• Wrong email used: Revoke the invite, then send a new one to the correct address.
• Invite expired: Click “Resend” to generate a new link.
• Multiple sites: After joining, the buyer can be added to more Projects/Drop-off Locations; no need to re-invite.
Tips & best practice
• Use a company group/alias email when there are multiple stakeholders.
• Add a personal note in the message field to set context (pricing terms, project names, start date).
• Keep your Projects and Drop-off Locations up to date—buyers can self-serve more easily during onboarding.

Q: Can I invite more than one contact from the same company?
A: Yes. Send additional invitations to each person’s email. They’ll join the same buyer account after the first contact sets it up.
Q: Can I restrict who on my team can invite buyers?
A: Yes, limit access to users with the appropriate supplier permissions/role.
Q: Does the invite link expire?
A: Yes. If it’s expired, use “Resend” to generate a fresh link.
Security & compliance
• Invite links are single-use and time-limited.
• If you suspect an invite was sent to the wrong address, revoke it immediately and re-issue.
